Building the Family TreeBuilding a complete Family Tree that stretches across five continents is a daunting task; but you know what they say about great oaks and little acorns!! If everybody supplies their branch, all branches can be linked together to provide the complete picture, like a jigsaw. So please supply details of your branch to familytree@divilly.com . You might find the Organisation Chart facility in Microsoft Word a convenient way to build the tree, otherwise just write the details out longhand. Please indicate where your branch links in to the existing family tree. If some details are missing, don't worry, once it is published some other member of the Divilly clan may be able to fill in the missing information. Together we can build the jigsaw!! The current tree has one main branch starting with John Divilly born in Scregg in 1831 and stretching to various parts of Galway city and county, Dublin, multiple locations in the UK, Australia and Reunion. There is another smaller branch starting with Martin and Katie Divilly in Glenamaddy and extending to Wolverhampton and Cardiff in the UK, Pittsburgh USA and Roscommon and Kilkenny. The tree can be displayed by clicking here on FAMILY TREE. I would appreciate if you could fill-in some of the details, such as birth and death dates or marriage names, that may be missing from the initial family tree. To display the tree you will need a PDF Reader. If you don't have it,
you can download a copy by clicking on the Adobe Reader logo. A copy of the family tree in Microsoft Word format can be downloaded from the Downloads area if you wish to edit it to use it to build your own family tree. Don't forget that you can use the Discussion Forum to get information from other members of the Divilly clan or you may be able to answer some of the outstanding queries from other Divillys.
