The Divilly family tree/ancestry web site welcomes all Divillys. My name is Pat Divilly. I
would like to hear from Divillys all over the world as to how
the site might best be used for the benefit of all the Divillys.
I would like to
develop a comprehensive site that all Divillys will enjoy and find useful no matter
where they live. I live in Dublin, Ireland and I run MarketWare International, www.marketware.biz
, a specialist marketing and business consulting company for the IT and
e-business industry. This provides me with access to web facilities and I
have some basic/amateur website building capabilities.
Site Features
To get things started, I have set up the following basic
features that you
can use:
Discussion Forum. Here you can post your comments or
questions or respond to discussion topics already established. You
can read all the earlier comments posted by other users and post your own
contribution to the discussion topic. Alternatively, you can use the
discussion section to look for information or help on any topic and check
back frequently for replies. Its a great way to trace your long lost
cousins!! What you post to the discussion section is seen by all
website visitors.
Divilly Family Tree Page. This is
an attempt to build the ultimate family tree. If
you supply details of your branch of the family, I will put all the
branches together to build the complete picture. Most people can
identify aunts, uncles and grandparents. Together we can build the
complete jigsaw!!
Gallery Page. Have you any
documents or photos that you would like to share? We will be happy
to display them in the Gallery. I would love to get more pictures to see
the family resemblances through the generations or interesting historical
or current documents.
Family Origins/History Page. This
page provides information on the origins of the Divilly name and the
earliest official records of the use of the name. The history section is
a relatively blank canvas awaiting your input. So if you want to star on the
Web, start writing.
Divilly 2005 Get Together. A
number of people have expressed an interest in organising a Divilly Clan get
together in 2005. You can use this section to register your interest in
taking part and/or helping with the organisation. This section is also
where you will find the latest information on any further developments regarding
dates, venues, etc.
Divilly News Page. I will endeavor to keep this
page up to date. So check back frequently to check out how members
of the family/clan are making news around the world. Send your news
items for inclusion to news@divilly.com The
news section is rather sparse at the moment, so all contributions are welcome!!
Registration Section. If you want to be kept informed by
email of new developments, complete the registration form.
Feedback Section. The feedback
section allows you to send me your comments directly regarding the
website. These comments are not published on the site and, unlike
the Discussion Section, are not seen by other visitors to the site.
